Microfragmented Adipose Tissue (MFAT)

A minimally processed form of the patient's own fat tissue that contains regenerative cells, used to support tissue repair in damaged joints and soft tissues.

What is Microfragmented Adipose Tissue (MFAT)?

MFAT is harvested through a small lipoaspiration procedure, then mechanically processed to create micro-fragments rich in pericytes and mesenchymal cells. These fragments provide a scaffold for tissue regeneration when injected into injured areas.

Who is it for?

Patients with moderate to severe joint degeneration, cartilage loss, or chronic tendon injuries who have not responded to other conservative treatments.

Benefits

  • Uses the patient's own tissue
  • Rich in regenerative cells and growth factors
  • Single-procedure treatment
  • Provides structural scaffold for healing
