Dr. Ryan Coon, NMD

Dr. Coon's path into medicine was shaped by a strong foundation in biochemistry and molecular biology, along with a precision-based background as a professional glass artist. His clinical approach reflects both analytical rigor and technical craftsmanship.

After navigating his own experience with chronic illness, Dr. Coon was drawn to naturopathic medicine and its focus on treating root causes rather than masking symptoms. That personal journey fuels his commitment to helping patients find lasting relief through advanced, evidence-based regenerative therapies.

Education

Dr. Coon earned his Naturopathic Medical Degree from Sonoran University of Health Sciences, graduating with honors in regenerative medicine. He completed a preceptorship at the Neil Riordan Center for Regenerative Medicine, where he trained in interventional pain management and ultrasound-guided procedures. He holds an undergraduate background in biochemistry and molecular biology.

Specialties

Dr. Coon specializes in diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound and regenerative medicine. He has completed advanced ultrasound training and currently works as a clinical ultrasound trainer while providing diagnostic imaging and procedural guidance across multiple sports medicine and regenerative clinics.

In his role as a regenerative medicine consultant, he integrates detailed history, physical examination, and imaging to develop precise, patient-specific treatment plans, including biologic therapies and ultrasound-guided interventions. He works closely with Dr. Romero and the team to deliver PRP and orthobiologic injections, BMAC, and nonsurgical pain solutions.
