Rotator Cuff

A group of four muscles and their tendons that stabilize the shoulder joint and enable arm rotation and overhead movement — commonly injured in athletes and with aging.

What is Rotator Cuff?

The rotator cuff muscles (supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor, subscapularis) work together to keep the humeral head centered in the shoulder socket during movement. Injuries range from tendinitis and bursitis to partial and complete tears, causing pain, weakness, and limited range of motion.

Who is it for?

Patients with shoulder pain, especially with overhead activities, night pain, weakness when lifting, or difficulty reaching behind the back.

Benefits

  • Ultrasound imaging provides accurate diagnosis
  • Many injuries respond to conservative treatment
  • PRP injections can accelerate tendon healing
  • Targeted rehabilitation restores function
